Artist Ed Moses was usually photographed while he was in motion. So, when I was assigned by Art Ltd magazine to photograph him, I decided to represent him in a less animated and more contemplative manner. My strategy was to have him engaged in conversation with Bill Bush, the magazine’s marketing director, while I shot the photos. It worked, and revealed a different side of Moses.
